From Paris to the Aisle: By Vedére’s Paris Fashion Week Debut
There are moments in life that arrive with all the subtlety of a champagne cork... sudden, sparkling, and impossible to ignore. For By Vedére, that moment came with a last-minute invitation to Paris Fashion Week 2025. Naturally, founders Rachael and Isabella didn’t hesitate. Within hours, they were packing their bags (and, of course, a suitcase full of luxury scarves and bridal capes) and jetting off to the fashion capital of the world.
A Scenic Detour to the City of Light
But as every seasoned traveler—or hopeless romantic—knows, even the most glamorous journeys have their plot twists. What was meant to be a smooth flight turned into an epic layover adventure through Istanbul: one lost bag, one delayed connection, and an unexpected cross-city airport transfer complete with an impromptu scenic tour. By the time we touched down in Paris—six hours later than planned—the city lights glittered like they were welcoming us personally.
And there was no time to rest. Straight off the plane, we headed to Brass Paris, where we swapped airplane mode for champagne glasses and began our first content shoot of the week. The restaurant’s golden glow set the perfect backdrop for capturing what we call the By Vedere woman—elegant, adventurous, and unbothered by turbulence.
Haute Couture, Coffee, and the Champs-Élysées
The next morning, Paris was buzzing. Show day. We wandered through the Champs-Élysées, picking up Isabella’s haute couture outfit—an ensemble that whispered “couture confidence” with every step. To complete the look, Isabella wore the Medusa cape, one of our signature bridal-to-evening pieces that embodies both grace and strength.
When she arrived at the show, the red carpet unfolded. As she ascended the grand staircase, the Medusa cape floating behind her, catching the attention of photographers perched on the stands. We stopped by a few exhibitions, continued shooting (because when in Paris, you always shoot), and watched as Isabella’s sister-in-law Janni turned heads at the L’Oréal Paris show wearing our pink Farfalla scarf—a romantic touch that fluttered beautifully in the autumn breeze.
